Abstract

Our aim was to compare perfusion parameters and left ventricular function with SESTAMIBI myocardial SPECT with QGS® and QPS® software with conventional reorientation (CR) and in anatomical position without reorientation (APWR). Methods: Thirty six patients underwent SPECT during pharmacological or exercise stress and rest. Comparison of means was performed according to normal distribution for perfusion and function parameters, and Pearson correlation for ejection fraction (LVEF) at rest and with contrast ventriculography in 19 cases. All studies were processed with and without reorientation. Results: Parameters of perfusion and ventricular function with and without processing reorientation showed no significant differences (P>0.05). Linear correlation for resting LVEF with contrast ventriculography LVEF was r = 0.81 (both). Conclusion: Parameters of perfusion and ventricular function in CR and APWR can be interpreted without significant differences. There is significant correlation between LVEF QGS® software with contrast ventriculography.
